The Agriturism Podere Magaiana is an old 15th century farmhouse which has been finely restored. Its strategic position makes it possible to visit all the most important sites in less than half an hour. Pontremoli is 3km away, Filattiera 1km, the Cinque Terre(The Five Lands) 35km, Versilia and Viareggio 60km, La Spezia 30km, and all the small villages of Lunigiana are just a few kilometers from the farm.

The art cities of Florence, Siena, Pisa and Lucca may be reached in about 1 hour.

Inside the farm we have a small restaurant where you can delight in Tuscan cuisine.

Our five rooms and the private annexe, all with bathroom, satellite TV and Wifi connection have a wonderful view over the garden, the swimming pool and the surrounding countryside.

Ayurvedic, hot stone, relaxing and energy massages are available in the privacy of your room.

There is a brand new horse-riding arena on the farm, with qualified instructors who will happily get you in the saddle, and are available for English and American style riding lessons, or for spectacular trekking excursions of one or more days along the river or in the splendid hills with  breathtaking views.

For those of you who are travelling with their best four-legged friends there is an agility dog area where you are able to have some fun. There is also a swimming pool to relax and sunbathe.

Mountain bikes are available for a small fee to ride along the famous Francigena Way or along the River Magra, reaching right down to the sea and the Cinque Terre
